He was a local carpenter and an avid Harley Davidson Motorcycle fan.
Surviving are his companion of twenty-seven years, Kim Edwards; daughter, Amanda Lynn Reeves; brother, David (Dee) M. Stanley, II, (Debbie); sisters, Jackie Varnam (Nicky) and Marilyn Reeves; grandchildren, Elijah, David, Bella, and Becca; sister-in-law, Linda Stanley; nephews and nieces, Deedy, Chandee, Dana, Deanna, Ashley and Marilyn; and special friends, Caleigh, Philip, Ralph, Cole, Melinda, and Phyllis.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte Chapel. Burial will follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
