Marcus graduated from Northern Nash High School in 2003. He was employed by Walmart, Inc as an employee coach for the Greenville and Roanoke Rapid Stores.
He joined the Holy Cross Church of Deliverance under the late Bishop Michael M. McKnight.
Marcus leaves to cherish his memory his children Jordan and Jaylen Summers of Whitakers, NC. His parents: Anita (mother) and Terry McKnight of Nashville, NC, Allan (father) and Rita Summers of Knightdale, NC; Grandmother, Pearline J. Summers of Knightdale, NC.; God brothers: Jarrell Lassiter, Rodney Williams, Harry Baggett; God sisters: Tayon Bellamy, Gabrielle Foster, Amanda Giles, Latoya Rogers, and Nekita Barnes. His Walmart work family: Juliet Eason, Randy Williams, Shelia Boone, Deborah Boyd; and a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
A going home service will be held Monday, November 11, 2024 at 11:0.0 am in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home.
