Marcy Granillo was born in Ysleta, Texas to Abran Gomez and Reyes O. Gomez. She was raised with 1 sister, Mary and 6 brothers, Simon, Alfred, Abran Jr., Angel, Louie and Jesse.
Marcy attended local schools and while attending a baseball game, she met Joe Granillo, her soulmate for life.
Marcy and Joe married June 25, 1966. They were blessed with 3 sons, Joe Jr., (wife Tina), Arthur (AJ) and Jesse. Later in life Marcy and Joe were continually blessed with 3 grandchildren, Joe III, (wife Kacie), Anthony, Marisella and 2 great-grandchildren, Jackson and Leia. There was no question of who owned Marcy's heart...her great-grandchildren, Jackson and Leia were the air she breathed.
Marcy's legacy of love lives on through her beloved family, faithful friends and the many lifelong memories they created.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025, 10 a.m. at Greenlawn Southwest, 2739 Panama Lane, Bakersfield, CA 93313.
