Margaret Mary Allen, age 91. Margaret was born June 20, 1934 in Detroit, MI. She died peacefully on November 26th with family by her side.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Delia and Henry Allen, her siblings Harry (Eleanore) Allen, Tom (Mary) Allen, Marie Carew, and Kathleen (Robert) Bushart, her dear cousins Mary Kay Doran and Beth Grayson Peterson, and nieces, Bridgid Armstrong Davis, Mary Delia Linhart and her Goddaughter Eileen Faria. She is survived by her brother in law Edward Carew, her cousin William (Judi) Doran along with 23 nieces and nephews and many grand nieces and nephews.
Margaret attended St. Gregory's school in Detroit and Siena Heights College where she received her Bachelor's degree. She lived and taught in Chicago for 20 years, and returned to Michigan to teach for many years. A devout Catholic, Margaret was a member of both St. Agatha and St. Priscilla parishes.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at St. Priscilla in Livonia, 9 am visitation and 10am funeral mass. Immediately following mass there will be a luncheon to celebrate her life, sharing family stories and photos, knowing she is at peace. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Capuchin Charities.
