Margaret Louise "Margie" Brandon

Margaret "Margie" Louise Brandon passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025 in Salt Lake City, Utah, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on April 19, 1935 in Portland, Oregon. preceded in death by her beloved husband of 32 years, Jerry Oliver Brandon; her parents Jake Eide and Thelma Eide; her brother Buzz Eide; her son Jay Kaufman; and her grandsons Rob Kaufman and Jake Kaufman.

She is survived by her daughter Holly Scott; her son Butch and LeeAnn Kaufman; her nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and by Jerry's two children; five grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved and cherished.

Margie lived a life that was vibrant and full of beauty. Raised in Portland, she was a remarkable young woman whose talent and dedication led her to become a U.S. National Roller-Skating Champion, one of her proudest achievements.

Her passion for sports continued throughout her life. She became an avid golfer, winning multiple Ladies Club Championships and forming lifelong friendships on the course.

Together with her husband Jerry they built a life centered on adventure and the outdoors. They made memories in their homes in Montana, Hawaii, and Arizona. They adored animals, never missing a chance to care for the wild, and spent countless days skiing.

Margie was a devoted Catholic whose faith guided her, grounded her, and connected her to many friends.

As a grandmother and great-grandmother, She showed up, supported, celebrated, and loved fiercely. She saw potential in others long before they saw it in themselves, offering encouragement, love and wisdom.

Margie found beauty in the smallest moments and created special experiences for everyone she encountered. Her contagious laughter, resilience, and adventurous spirit left an unforgettable imprint on all who knew her.

Margie lived with joy, passion, and purpose. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, family, and cherished memories. Margie will be deeply missed by all.
