Peggy was born in Brooklyn and raised in Glendale, Queens. She was a Registered Nurse on the St. Lawrence East wing of St. Vincent's Hospital in New York City, after which she moved to helping local patients at the Ridgewood Bushwick Senior Citizen Respite Center while raising her son. In her later years she enjoyed splitting time between Glendale and Catskill, New York.
She is survived by her husband John, her son Kevin (Hali), her brother Vincent (Jennifer), her sisters JoEllen and Kathy (Kurt), and sister-in-law Beth (Ben), along with niece Madeline and nephews Mark, Michael, and Mac, and poodle Charley.
The Schwille Funeral Home at 6632 Myrtle Ave, Glendale has been entrusted with arrangements; visitations will be Thursday, March 5th, 2pm - 5pm and 7pm - 9pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 6th at St. Pancras R.C. Church in Glendale at 10:30am.
