Margaret Clark Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium on Dec. 8, 2025.
Margaret A. "Peggy" Clark, 75, of Rockford, IL, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025 after a brief illness.
She was born on October 2, 1950 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Richard and Janis (Nesemeier) Peterson. Peggy was a 1969 Rockford West High School graduate.
Peggy was formerly employed by Swedish American Hospital; where she did clerical work for the homecare intake department. She enjoyed collecting antiques and primitive décor. Peggy could often be found spending time with her friends at "The Pec Thing", going to Amish sales, and lunch. When her husband, Jerry Clark was alive, she greatly enjoyed listening to his Country band play and sing. Peggy was an avid reader and enjoyed a good book. She also loved making hand made quilts and attending quilting shows. Most of all, she loved and adored her Bichon, Penny.
Survivors include her mother, Janis Peterson of Texas; niece, Rebecca Ferraro; nephew, Jason (Rachel) Ferraro; great niece, Eizabella Rose Pearson; other relatives and friends, including, Leslie Gearhart, David Watts, and Christopher Shawell.
Peggy was predeceased by her father; husband, Jerry Clark; son, Keven Kent; and sister, Debra Sue Peterson.
The family would like to give a special thank you to OSF Hospice and the staff at River Bluff Nursing Home for their care of Peggy.
Entombment for Peggy will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025 in the Mausoleum at Floral Lawn Cemetery, 835 Dearborn Ave., South Beloit, IL.
Memorials can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in memory of Peggy and her son, Keven.
