John and Family, I was sadened to hear about Margaret's passing but we know that she is now in a better place. Her suffering was long but she will be remembered as a great friend and classmate from Hinton High School. We were all very pleased that she was able to attend our 50th anniversary and her spirit will always be with us at future anniversary gatherings. Dear John and Eric,
I was so saddened to hear about my friend Margaret.
We worked together at Vepco in Customer Relations for George Hudgins and later Ken Lane.
Whenever I think of her I laugh because we shared so many good times and laughter. She loved her family and was a faithful wife and mother.
I loved her and will miss her terribly.
Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

My heart is so heavy. Margaret and I were sincerely like 'soul' sisters for the many years we worked together at 'VEPCO.' We shared an office, and one of our supervisors threatened to fire us because our laughter and good natured humor drew too many other employees and supervisors to our office just to visit. Our sincere sympathy to all of the family. It has been very rough on everyone. My husband (Ray Marino) worked with Margaret at Dominion Power for many years, and he thought the world of her. He passed away 11-3-04. I know he would want me to offer condolences to all. Plus, Paul Morgan married my niece (Julie). We love that young man more that we could ever have imagined. Margaret will forever be in my heart as my "second" mother. I admired her and learned so much from her about life, cooking tips, relationships, etc. I was honored to be chosen as the maid of honor in her wedding to John and blessed to be a part of their lives. I will always love her.
