Marge was a wonderful person and may her legacy live on here at Churchville Nature Center. Sending deepest sympathy to the large circle of family, friends and schools across the region who were educated and enlightened by her words and deeds.

The People say, our hearts fell to the ground, to express deep sorrow. Yet my heart celebrates the long life and numerous fires Marge Custer set among her children. Marge was a mother to many, including myself and the Lenape people who originally occupied this land. She nurtured my heart and spirit when my birth mother Walked the Walk. She enjoys a well deserved rest, now seated around the Great Fire with the ancestors. We who are her children of the heart will always carry the light of her fire with us. Rest In Peace, Mother of the Heart.

Wanishi Marge for your love, support, encouragement and guidance. You came to us as a Gray Wolf (wonderful teacher) and left us as a White Wolf (ultimate teacher). Your spirit in the Lenape Village fills our hearts. Wanishi to the Creator who sent you to us.
