In memory of
MARILYN HARVEY
October 8, 2024
Margie was a beautiful woman of faith and compassion. Her gentle and generous heart touched many people. She quietly gave her helping hand to others in so many compassionate ways. I will never forget how she helped us take care of our dad Mario when his health and memory were failing. She helped us keep him safe, and lovingly cared for at his home. God reward you with eternal peace and joy Margie . The Harvey and Favacchia family

I remember the first time I saw Margie working at Mercy After Care at Waldron surrounded by a group of very happy and busy children. They were all very intently working on knitting with Margie patiently teaching them. Margie was a kind and gentle soul who never tired of giving her all in service to others. Under the most difficult of circumstances she always had a smile and a strong faith that God would provide. Margie lived as a model of the words of Micah. Our world will feel her loss.
"You have been told...what the Lord requires of you: Only to do right and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8

Margie! Without doubt, you fought the good fight. Now you can take your rest in the side of the Sacred Heart.

I’m so very sorry for your loss. Margie had a heart of love and compassion for people of all ages. I have very fond and comforting memories of her and the loving care she provided my dad as a caregiver and companion while we were at work. What a blessing to our family. May her beautiful soul Rest In Peace ❤

At that time Jesus said, I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and the intelligent and have revealed them to infants; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. All things have been handed over to me by my Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.'

A wonderful cousin with a beautiful soul....I can still hear her father, my Uncle Charles, singing the Margie song to her when she was about two years old.... it's amazing how I can still visualize that moment....May she be at peace...I'll see her when I see her....
