Margaret A. Eakin

Margaret Ann Eakin (nee Fiechuk), age 95, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Harold B. for 62 years; devoted mother of Janet Muller (Charles), David (Toshie), and the late Timothy (Ann); cherished grandmother of Matthew (Misty Lee), Daniel (Kristen), Tiffany (Christopher), Amanda, Kahn, Eric, and Justin; great-grandmother of Shealyn, Gage, Lilliana, and Adalyn; aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Margaret was born on October 22, 1930, in Butler, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of the late Alex and the late Anna Fiechuk (nee Sewanich). She was part of a large family of sixteen, eight brothers and eight sisters. Margaret enjoyed raising her children, playing with her grandchildren, planting flowers, gardening, and decorating. Margaret prided herself on being an excellent cook. She was also a faithful member of the Strongsville United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Strongsville United Methodist Church, 13500 Royalton Rd., Strongsville, Ohio 44136 or Amedisys Hospice Care, 885 W. Bagley Rd., Berea, Ohio 44017.

A funeral service will be held for Margaret at 12pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 Ridge Rd., Parma, Ohio 44129. Family will receive friends from 10am until the time of the service. Interment to follow at Hope Memorial Gardens, Hinckley.
