Margaret "Peg" Ferriola, age 74, of Knoxville, TN passed away peacefully on March 9, 2023 at Parkwest Medical Center, Knoxville, TN. Born to Frederick G. and Anna T. McCaughey Herman in Shenandoah, PA and raised in Chester, PA, she resided in Knoxville, TN for the past 25 years, previously residing in Michigan and Aston, PA. Peg was a former parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Aston, PA and a member at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Knoxville, TN. She was devout in her Catholic faith and was a Eucharistic minister and active in many of her church ministries. Peg was an avid reader and loved Irish music. She always cherished time spent with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Herman, and H. Patricia Herman, and brother, Daniel Herman. Margaret is survived by her loving husband, John M. Ferriola, Jr.; daughter, Theresa "Terri" (Jim) Sommer; her son, John M. (Barbie Smith) Ferriola, III; six grandsons, Jimmy, Joshua, Tyler, Caleb, Jason, and Johnny.; three great grandchildren, London, Brooklynn, and Shea; sisters, Kathleen T. Herman, Mary Ann Roman, Louise Miloro, Ellen Covolus; and brother, Fred Herman. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 9AM to 10AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church. 3255 Concord Rd, Aston, PA at 11AM. Interment will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 10:30 AM in Annunciation Blessed Virgin Mary Church Cemetery, 29 Cemetery Rd, Shenandoah, PA.
