Margaret Frank Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home - Whippany on May 16, 2025.
Margaret A Frank, 101, of Cedar Knolls | Convent Station, New Jersey, was called to heaven on Thursday afternoon, May 14, 2025. She passed peacefully with her family around her. Born in East Rutherford, New Jersey she attended East Rutherford High School and Business school afterward.
Margaret married Edward Thomas Frank on June 7, 1952, and they shortly moved to Convent Station, New Jersey to raise their family. Margaret volunteered in the gift shop at Morristown Medical Center for years as well as the gift shop at Notre Dame Church. She also enjoyed doing bagels at the church for the homeless donations. Margaret also worked at Ginty's Irish Gifts in Morristown. She was an avid reader into her 100's with a book club amongst friends. Margaret and Edward enjoyed travelling the world and took many cruises. They also loved spending vacations at the Jersey shore with their children and grandchildren. Margaret is predeceased by her loving husband Edward, "Poppy".
Margaret will be remembered by her three daughters, Mary Margaret Weger and her husband George of Berkley Heights; her daughter Ann Marie Stout and her husband Don of Columbia, Maryland; her daughter Margaret Scafati and her husband Glenn of Long Valley and her son Edward T. Frank Jr. and his wife Donna of Long Valley and she was predeceased by her son Richard Joseph Frank. Margaret was a loving and amazing Mom and "Nanny" and leaves nine grandchildren, Kristiann Ebert and her husband Nick, Michael Stout and his wife Jennifer, Kate Guglielmo and her husband Mike, Matthew Edward Stout and his wife Yasmin, Jessica Cowger and her husband Mitch, Nicole Frank, Edward Frank III, Shannon Rickley and Kara Rickley. Two Step-grandchildren, Mason Scafati and Hunter Scafati. She also leaves ten great grandchildren, Alexandra "Alex" Stout, Everly Ebert, Emilia Ebert, Lincoln Stout, Savannah Cowger, Jameson Cowger, Camdyn Stout, Easton Ebert, Nathan Guglielmo and Rylee Guglielmo.
Margaret was a remarkable cook whose cherished recipes continue to live on in the memories of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. But her greatest legacy wasn't found in the kitchen-it was in the deep, unconditional love she gave so freely to her family.
She carried a quiet beauty and a generous spirit that touched everyone she met. Genuine and endlessly selfless, she never focused on herself, always placing others first-with a grace that made people feel seen and cared for.
Her sense of humor was one of a kind-quick, honest, and filled with heart. She was known and treasured for her directness, always delivering the truth with kindness and wisdom. Margaret saw the best in others and offered advice that reflected not only a lifetime of insight but a heart full of compassion.
To know her was to be loved by her. She gave both her love and her friendship without hesitation-and those of us blessed to have received them will carry that gift forever.
Heaven has gained a truly extraordinary angel-one who brings with her laughter, selfless devotion, and an unmatched spirit of love.
She will always be remembered for her gentle reminders and fierce love:
"Do your work."
"Text me when you get home."
"God bless."
"Say your six Hail Marys."
And most of all:
"I love you more."
Those who wish may contribute in her memory to the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center, Palliative and Hospice Center
