Margaret Mary Gallace - 88, of Trumbull, CT, died on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at her home. She was born in Stamford, CT on June 17, 1937 to the late Maurice F. and Margaret M. Kenneally.
She is survived by her sisters, Elizabeth Hayes of Stamford, CT, and Mary Koch of Warwick, NY; her children, Maureen Gallace (and Jason Tomme), Barry Gallace, Robert (and Stacy) Gallace, John (and Terry) Gallace, her adored granddaughter Lauren Gallace, and all of her nieces and nephews, the Hayes's and the Koch's. She was predeceased by her sister Eileen Kenneally and her beloved grandson, Bryan Gallace.
Margaret loved theatre and art, history, reading and being an engaged citizen through politics, charity, and civic acts. She also cherished her time spent traveling the world with her sister Eileen. Above all else came her family. She was a devoted mom, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Her children were everything to her. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.
There will be a viewing at Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home, 104 Myrtle Avenue Stamford, CT on Friday, November 21st from 4-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, CT on Saturday, November 22nd at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien, CT.
Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home will be making all the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant House New York whose mission to care for youth and young people was especially important to Margaret.
