Services for Margaret Estelle Lynch Gill, 86, of Tyler, will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Turrentine officiating. Interment will follow at Whitehouse Cemetery in Whitehouse under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gill passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026, in Groesbeck. She was born July 12, 1939, in Freestone County to Audrey Estelle Miles and J.D. Lynch.

Margaret graduated from Wortham High School. She retired from the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company as an Operator Supervisor. Margaret was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and served alongside her husband James Gill Sr. in the Korean War Veterans Association.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, James Gill Sr. She is survived by her loving family, including her son, Charles Florence and his wife Lisa; grandchildren Megan Fulton and her husband Josh, Lauren Sinclair and her husband Luke, Ethan Florence and his wife Hannah; and great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Jaxsyn Fulton, and LeAnna, Lacy and Layton Sinclair. Margaret is also survived by her son James Gill Jr.; daughter-in-law Kim Gill and husband Tom Reavis; grandchildren Michael Gill, and Nicole Gill Zand and husband Dean Zand; and great-grandchildren Greyson, Avery and Sawyer.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Florence, Michael Gill, Mark Cox, Luke Sinclair, and Bart Williams.

Visitation is scheduled from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.
