Margaret J. "Marge" Gilmore, age 61, of Carter Lake, Iowa, passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 2, 2011.

She was born on August 20, 1949, to George and Lois Hackenholz Glacey, Sr., Marge attended Thomas Jefferson High School. She served as a clerk in the Pottawattamie County Recorders office for many years.

Marge is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald W. "Gonzo" Gilmore, in 2007; and brother, George Glacey, Jr.

She is survived by her sons, Bob Mantell and wife, Kristen, of Treynor, Iowa, Mike Mantell and wife, Michelle, of Shelby, Iowa; and their father, Mike Mantell, of Council Bluffs; grandchildren, Nolan, Grant, Quinn, McKenzie and Michael Mantell; sister, Pat McGrath and husband, Dan, of Council Bluffs; brother, Joe Glacey and wife, Julie, of Omaha, Neb.; nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family Friday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services Saturday, 5 p.m., at the Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Rev. Nathan Sherrill, officiant. Inurnment at a later date. Family will direct memorials.

There was only 1 Margie,,, Always upbeat (@ least that is what she shared with most people) I am so glad we were friends & got to hang out 2gether..So very glad we visited off & on these last few years..
