Margaret Grunerud Obituary
Mom was born April 2, 1938 at the Victoria General Hospital in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
Mom grew up on a farm between Lily Plain and McDowall Saskatchewan until she left, making her way to Calgary to find the love of her life our beloved father Lyle Grunerud.
She will be lovingly remembered by her four children Danny Grunerud, Julie Hetchler, Kim Grunerud and Darren Grunerud; beloved and dear adopted siblings Sam Shafik, Sherie Luoma and Cheri-Lynn Halvorson; sister Dolly Kornaga; brother Dan Dunbar; 8 grandchildren Dan (Julie) Gamble, Jason (Karla) Hetchler, Kelly Grunerud, Jodi (Aaron) Reiten, Lyle Wilson, Jesse Grunerud, Ryan (Denise) Kernohan and Tasha Halvorson; and 13 great-grandchildren Jade Reiten, Riley Hetchler, Dylan Wilson, Luke Reiten, Ty Hetchler, Ryder Halvorson, Sean Tanner, Mareesa Kernohan, Trinity Kernohan, Piper Hetchler, Alexander Hetchler, Alena Gamble and Zack Kernohan. She was predeceased by her parents Dan and Gerty Dunbar, Lyle, Rose Marie, Joe Zilkowski Murry and Michael Kornaga.
A Funeral Service will be held at Avenue Church, (7642 22 Street SE), on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family would kindly request a love offering in Wynnie's memory to "Avenue Church" promoting the gospel of Christ, her passion in life.
Now safe and secure in the loving arms of Jesus.
