Loving stepmother of James (“Jimmy”) Hail, Jr. and Kimberly (“Kim”) Oeder. Dear step-grandmother of Blake Swinford. Beloved sister of John Schneider, and the late Joyce James, Jean Hice, and Lou Schneider.
Cherished stepsister of Donna Ryan, Marilyn Stewart, John Galvin, Tom Galvin, and the late Gini Lawson. Daughter of the late Margaret (“Peggy”) Galvin and Louis Schneider.
Stepdaughter of the late John (“Jack”) Galvin. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Margie was a retired elementary school teacher who inspired countless young lives. We will miss her energetic line dancing, golfing, card-playing, jazzercising, hiking, traveling , fun-loving spirit. She had a gift for making others feel seen, supported, and uplifted, and the world feels a little less bright without her.
A Celebration of Life will be held in private.
