Margaret R. Hart - Miller

Naples - Margaret "Peg" Robinson Hart Miller, 88, of Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully on Dec 1, 2025.

Born on April 21, 1937, in Nashville, Tennessee, Peg was the daughter of Dr. Elisha Miller Robinson and Elizabeth Rushton Robinson. She grew up in a loving home alongside her older sister, Elizabeth Robinson Lacock, and two older brothers, Miller and Benjamin Robinson.

Peg married Joseph W. Hart Jr. in 1956, and together they built a strong and devoted partnership that lasted until his passing in 2022. In 2023 she married a lifelong friend, Raymond Miller, with whom she shared companionship and care during her later years.

A godly Christian woman of quiet strength, kindness, and deep loyalty, Peg was the heart of her family. She is survived by her husband Raymond Miller, sons, Joseph W. Hart III (Pam) and William F. "Bill" Hart (Varina); and by her beloved grandchildren, Varina H. Shaughnessy, (Andrew) Chaffin H. Shetty,( Gaurav), James Benjamin Hart, and Joseph Harrison Hart, each of whom she treasured deeply.

Being a long-time Naples resident, Peg enjoyed warm friendships and was very active in the Christian community. She was a wise woman great faith and lived out her faith daily in serving others. She was a member of 1st Naples Church and was co-founder of The Christian Women's Club of Naples, Child Evangelism Fellowship of Collier County and Naples Christian Academy. She was active in her church involvement and sharing the gospel through leading women's in-home Bible studies, children's backyard Bible studies, and other such discipling activities. She went to Albania to share the gospel through the Jesus Film shortly after the Iron Curtain fell. She was extremely hospitable, always cheerful, loved to laugh, loved being in nature and taught her family to appreciate the beauty of God's creation. She was generous with her time and resources. She was devoted to her grandchildren teaching them to embrace life's mysteries, be imaginative and adventurous, and look to God for character and strength.

She will be remembered for being Christlike in kindness, warmth, her steady presence and wisdom, and her enduring love for those closest to her and her passion for sharing the gospel to those near and far.

Graveside service is 11:30 AM Saturday, Dec 6 at 11:30 AM at Naples Memorial Gardens and Celebration of the Resurrection service at 2 PM at Bay Presbyterian Church in Bonita Springs at 26911 S.
