Margaret Jaklic Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 4, 2025.
Born on April 1, 1946 to Leslie and Rose Karkeet, Margaret passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 30th surrounded by those who loved her.

She was the baby sister to Jeanne Gunter, Guy Karkeet (Delphine), and Joan Ferrilla (Frank). Beloved Aunt of Diana, Brian (Anne), Kathleen, Keith, and Christopher.

She was passionate about animals and supported the Michigan Humane Society and ASPCA. Her most important role in life was being a Mom to her beloved kittys Sweety, Angel, Tabitha and Samantha--they were the center of her life and she loved each of them with all of her heart.

She worked for the Michigan Secretary of State for 19 years as a Customer Service Specialist--it takes a special kind of person to do that job and she truly enjoyed it and loved people.

When she retired she found Facebook and enjoyed reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, and discovering a whole new world of Elvis. Those who knew her, knew the only other passion in her life was Elvis! She fell in love with him and his songs as a teen and carried that spark deep in her soul.

Margaret was privately put to rest by her family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by everyone.
