Margaret D. (Young) Krueger, age 90, of Greenville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2025 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.
Margaret was born on February 6, 1935, and spent her childhood on the family farm with her parents and siblings. She received her education in New London. While working, Margaret met the love of her life, Gilbert “Gib” Krueger. It was love at first sight, and they were married on October 19, 1961. Together, Margaret and Gib shared 49 wonderful years, raising five children and building a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure.
Family was Margaret’s greatest joy. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, cherishing holidays and family gatherings. She loved tending her gardens, preserving the harvest through canning and freezing, and took pride in her beautiful flowers. Margaret was also a devoted fan of the Wisconsin Badgers and the Green Bay Packers.
She and Gib enjoyed Sunday drives, often stopping at antique shops and ice cream parlors. Their shared love of travel took them to every state in the U.S., as well as Great Britain, Mexico, and Canada. For many years, they wintered in Arizona and Texas, creating lasting memories together.
Margaret is survived by her children: Nancy (Marlin) Conradt of Shiocton, Todd (Lynne) Krueger of Oshkosh, Trudy (Jeffrey) Sharpe of Greenville, Michael Sr. (Bonnie) Krueger of Clintonville, and Steven (Linda) Krueger of New London. She is further survived by 10 grandchildren: Michael (Amy) Krueger II, Brenda (Josh) Hoier, Matthew Krueger Sr., Travis Krueger, Wendy Krueger, Aaron (Katie) Krueger, Graham (Shanna) Conradt, Myriah Conradt, Savannah (Darren Huempfner) Conradt, and Tia Krueger; as well as great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brothers Harold (Audrey) Young, Robert (Carol) Young, and Le Roy (Noreen) Young; her sister Jean (Michael) Bellile; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
