Loving Wife, SNET retiree
Torrington – Margaret Forsberg Magazian went to be with the Lord on December 14, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Armen E. Magazian. She was born in Torrington on December 21, 1949 the daughter of the late, Erland and Hildagard (Aust) Forsberg. Margaret "Peggy" had many careers; she worked for SNET for 26 years, was an Avon Rep for 24 years and worked at Kmart for 12 years. Peggy was a member of the 4-H club, the boys and girls club and Girl Scouts. She loved bowling, ceramics and ball room dancing. However family was her #1 priority.
Left to honor her loving memory are her husband, Armen, as well as her siblings; Mark and Paul Forsberg and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her nephew, Jeremy Forsberg and sister-in-law, Jody Forsberg.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. A service will begin at 7:00 pm. Further arrangements will be held in the spring.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors' choice.
