Margaret “Margy” Winfield Huske, 66, of Raleigh, died on January 8, 2024. Margy was born September 30, 1957, in Fayetteville to the late John Huske, Jr. and Margaret Thomason Huske.
Margy graduated from Terry Sanford High School, class of 1975, where she was head cheerleader. She was an outstanding student and received the Service Cup for her contributions to the school. She graduated from St. Mary’s Junior College with honors. A talented musician, Margy played, performed, and taught piano.
Margy had a cheerful disposition who never forgot a face and always remembered people. To know her was to love her.
Margy is survived by her long-time companion, Robert Arrington; sister, Helen Thomason Huske of Fayetteville; and brothers, John Huske III of Goldsboro and Thomas Webb Huske of Frankfort, KY.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 11 am at St. John's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint John's Episcopal Church, 302 Green Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301.
Services are entrusted to Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service & Crematory.
