It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Margaret Kuljis McMahon on November 22, 2025, at the age of 99 years old.
Margaret entered this world on October 24, 1926 to her loving parents, Sam and Mary Kuljis. She was blessed with two sisters, Vencentia Kuljis Trahan and Teresa Kuljis Ward.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Charles H. McMahon, Sr. and her sister, Vencentia Kuljis Trahan.
Margaret is survived by her three children, Charles H. McMahon, Jr., Charlotte McMahon Pisarich (Sonny) and Cheryl McMahon (Miral Nelson). She leaves behind to cherish her memory her grandchildren, Timmy McMahon (Shelia), Michael McMahon (Stefanie), Ryan McMahon (Stephanie), Lisa Pisarich Ware (Davy), Bryan Pisarich (Raegan) and Justin Thibodeaux (Willena); 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to a special friend that helped to take care of our mother for the last three years. Without her, we could not have accomplished as much as we did. She was our "visiting angel" along with Shelia McMahon during her most recent hospital stay. Many thanks to Dr. Paul Pavlov and his office staff for his many years of service and compassionate care. Thank you to Deaconess Hospice and Arden Hospice and their employees that were so faithful during the last days of her illness. Special thanks to Father Paddy Mockler for administering the last sacraments. Finally, we cannot thank Sarah Seymour and her staff at Homestead Assisted Living in D'Iberville, MS, enough. Without her guidance and expert advice, Mom's stay there would not have been quite the same.
Funeral Services will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Pass Road in Biloxi on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 10:30 am. Friends may visit from 9:30 am until service time. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Park.
Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Margaret Kuljis McMahon.
