Margaret M. Mulrey

Margaret M. (Slattery) Mulrey of South Boston passed away on November 19, 2025. She was born and raised in South Boston on September 30, 1937 to the late George and Mary (Nee) Slattery. Beloved wife of the late James W. Mulrey. Devoted mother of James Mulrey of Revere, Thomas Mulrey and his wife Barbara of Hingham, Ellen Colvin and her husband Bradley of Rutland, VT. Loving grandmother of James, Olivia, Zoie, Mattingly, Jake, Jessica and Mickey. Cherished sister of Bridget McCarthy and her husband Gene and the late Brother Martin Slattery, John Slattery, James Dudley Slattery, Dennis Slattery, and Katherine Edwards. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation in the O'Brien Funeral Home 146 Dorchester St South Boston on Sunday November 23rd from 4-7pm. Funeral Mass in St. Brigid Church 841 East Broadway South Boston on Monday November 24th at 10am. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Mattapan. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
