Margaret A. Munley

Margaret A. Munley, 80, of Miller St, Wallingford, CT, wife of the late Gerald P. Munley, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on August 29, 2025.
Mrs. Munley was born in Ireland, the daughter of the late Ellen (Lynn) and Joseph Hoey. In 1975, she married and emigrated to the United States.
She was predeceased by her sister, Rosemary Hoey, and brother, Frank Hoey. She is survived by her son, Kevin Munley, and his wife, Magdalena, of Wallingford; her daughter, Amy Knight and her husband, Bryan, of Wake Forest, North Carolina. Margaret found great joy in her beloved grandchildren, Yan Munley, Ronan Knight, and Nora Knight. In addition, Margaret is survived by her brother, James Hoey, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; her sister, Eileen Daly, of Limerick, Ireland; her brother, Bernard Hoey, of Ballynacarrigy, Ireland; her sister-in-law, Joan Troccolo, of Wallingford; and one niece and three nephews.
A Mass of remembrance will be held on October 5, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Church, 139 North Orchard Street, Wallingford. Interment was Private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext, Wallingford, CT 06492. In memory of Margaret, donations can be made to Lyman Hall High School, Gerald P.
