Thank you, Beloved Divine Intelligence & Grace, Thank you for Your Wonderful Creation, Margaret Nickolas Passiakos, of Knoxville, who departed us for Your Glorious Life Beyond on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. Thank you for her parents, Nick and Marika Passiakos, and her aunt and uncle James and Fotine Psihogios of Knoxville, Tennessee, and her sister, Pauline Passiakos Apostolou, who preceded her into the Expanding Illumination ahead. After growing up and engaging her education in Knoxville, with a brief interlude in Greece, which included an encounter with the German Wehrmacht who were touring through the nation in 1943, she continued her life in Knoxville thereafter. Margaret was among the generation of digital pioneers who assisted with the digitization of the Oak Ridge National Laboratories' archives.

Along with her family, the continuing joy of her life was Knoxville's St. George Greek Orthodox community, deriving ongoing satisfaction including her participation in the Choir, the Ladies Philoptochos Society, and preparations for the Knoxville Greek Festival. Her friendships with Marina Tsagaris, Tina Paris, Lena Peroulas, Connie Vavalides, Elizabeth Farr were just a few of the innumerable blessings she cherished in the community. She leaves among the witnesses of the joy of life, her aunt Tula Pournaras of Knoxville, sister Fani Cosse of Shreveport Louisiana, cousin Pete Psihogios of Knoxville, her sister's children Nickolas Apostolou and Michael Apostolou of Roanoke, Virginia, Lisa Apostolou Davenport of Marietta, Georgia, and favorite nephew-in-law Scott Davenport and grandnieces Alexandria and Reagan Davenport, all of Marietta, Georgia, among many beloved cousins, nephews, and nieces.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 22nd from 12 noon to 1 pm at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 4070 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, preceding the celebration of her life and passage into the Divine Love at 1pm. Interment is at Lynnhurst Cemetery at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to celebrate her life may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church of Knoxville.
