Funeral Mass for Margaret M. Powers, 67, of Kirtland, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at Divine Word Catholic Church, 8100 Eagle Rd., Kirtland.
Peggy passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, surrounded by family and friends.
She was born Sept. 14, 1956, in Cleveland.
Peggy cherished her family and friends, loved playing games, going to the beach, camping and tending to her flowers. She was extremely generous to all and would literally give the shirt off her back to anyone. Her personality was unmatched, and she could lighten up any darkened room in a heartbeat with her beautiful smile and laughter. It is an immense loss. Her loving and exceptionally caring ways will never be forgotten.
She was the loving mother of Lucas Tyler Cox; cherished sister of Douglas S. (Meta) Seaburn and Mary Jane (Todd) Holland; aunt of Christopher J. Seaburn, Mitchell T. (Crystal) Seaburn and Matthew D. (Jenna) Seaburn; great-aunt of Courtney, Sean and Mirabella; loving companion to Chris "Zoomer" Szuhy; and blessed to be a second mother to Kayla Klingensmith.
Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mark Powers; parents, Donald F. and Mary Jane (nee McNamee) Seaburn; brother, Donald F. Seaburn, Jr.; and nephew, Steven D. Seaburn.
Family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at Divine Word Catholic Church, 8100 Eagle Rd., Kirtland.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
