Margaret Shaffer Repetti, 77, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024 in the WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital. Born February 18, 1947 in Chambersburg she was the daughter of the late LaMarr A. and Hannah E. Shaffer.
In her early years she was employed for the Stanley Company, Chambersburg. Margaret was also employed as a bartender at the AMVETS Post 224 and as a houseparent at the Scotland School for Veterans Children for several years. She was a member of the AMVETS Post 224. Margaret was an avid bowler and enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family.
She is survived by five sons, Robert “Bob” S. Repetti, Jr. (Maryann) of Shippensburg, Gerald R. Reasner of Chambersburg, Kevin L. Reasner (Tammi) of Scotland, Michael J. Reasner of Chambersburg, and Lee M. Repetti (Connie) of Shippensburg; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three brothers, Richard A., Irvin L., and Robert E. Shaffer; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert S. Repetti, Sr. and a sister, Shirley Stymiest.
Services will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 8, 2025 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Rev. Dr. A. Robert Cook officiating. Burial will follow Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 PM in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
