Margaret B. Romero

Romero - Margaret (Margie), 95 years young, lifelong residence of New Mexico, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025, with her loving family by her side.

Margaret is survived by her loving children, Art (TD), Ernie and wife, Cindy, Debbie and husband, Ricky and Yvette Aragon; 11 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren; loving brother, Eddie Baca, and wife, Lucille; and sister-in-law, Sophie Baca; many cherished nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Margaret was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Amadeo, infant son, Joseph and son Andrew. Her parents, Tranquilino and Monica Baca; brothers, Benny, and Tony, sisters, Elisa, and Eloisa.

Margaret had many jobs in her life, she was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, aunt and friend! She worked for GTE Lenkurt and loved working in many school cafeteria’s retiring from her last job at Albuquerque Academy. Margaret enjoyed exercising, going to family functions, traveling and being around her family.

A Visitation will be held Monday, December 15, 2025, at 5:00pm with a Rosary to follow at 6:00pm at Daniels Family Funerals and Cremation, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE. Albuquerque, NM 87109. A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 10:00 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Burial will be Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 1:00pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Christopher, Jerome, Jessica, Scott, Kimberly and great grandson Jonas Romero. Honorary pallbearers will be all her grand and great grandchildren!

Our family wanted to send a big heartfelt thank you to the staff at Presbyterian Home Hospice, and we were so blessed and grateful for her Nurse Loretta!

Margaret, our mom, will be deeply missed by her family, nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends!
