Sarah Margaret Taylor, 87 of Hardinsburg, KY, died on July 11, 2025 at Breckinridge Memorial Nursing Facility. She was born in Breckinridge County on September 23, 1937 to the late Vol Duke and Janie Smith Duke. Margaret was of the Baptist faith and regularly attended worship services held during her time in the nursing facility. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and traveling and was a member of the Red Hat Ladies. She loved her grandchildren dearly and she was very loved in return.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad Taylor; Daughter-in-Law, Sharon Taylor and Great-Grandson, Ryder.

She is survived by a son, Roy Taylor (Jan) of Leitchfield, Ky

Daughters: Doris Carter (James) of Lebanon, TN

Pat Brown (Mike) of Hardinsburg, Ky

Bertie Lucas of Florence, Ky

Sister: Vina Ziakas of Louisville, Ky

Sister-in-Law: Beatrice Duke of Leitchfield, Ky

17 Grandchildren, 48 Great-Grandchildren & 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, July 14, 2025 from The Trent-Dowell Funeral Home

Visitation will be from 10 - 12 on Monday

Burial will be in Ivy Hill Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Breckinridge Memorial Nursing Facility
