Margaret Ann "Peggy" Youngling

Margaret Ann (Peggy) Youngling, 82, a long-time resident of Davidsonville, MD, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025, at her home in Davidsonville after a brief illness. Peggy was born August 7, 1943, in Framingham, MA, to the late Raymond and Catherine Rasicot. Peggy graduated from Framingham High School. While in high school Peggy enjoyed twirling her baton in the high school marching band. In addition to being a homemaker, Peggy also enjoyed hostessing at local restaurant establishments such as Adam's Rib in Edgewater, Md, Spring House, Davidsonville, and Killarney House, Davidsonville. Peggy also enjoyed crafts, sewing, ceramics, and working in the yard planting flowers and trees. She was so proud of her cherry trees that lined her property in the neighborhood. Peggy was a big fan of NFL. She loved the New England Patriots. Peggy was also very enthusiastic about NASCAR. Peggy enjoyed her many summer trips to Cape Cod to visit family and friends, and simply enjoy being on the Cape. Her favorite adventure while visiting Cape Cod was shopping every Christmas Tree Shop and perhaps more than once. Peggy is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Dawn (Youngling) and Kirk Halvorson of Friendship MD, a son, Eric Youngling of Katy TX, a daughter-in-law, Rachel Youngling, of Yarmouth MA, and a granddaughter, Cordelia Youngling, also of Yarmouth MA, and a step-grandson, Hunter of MD, in addition to several cousins. The family would like to extend gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and medical staff at Luminis Health Gilchrist Lifecare Institute for their medical care. Friends are invited to celebrate Peggy's life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 2-4pm.
