Margaretia Ann "Clark" Rosado

Margaretia Rosado passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026 after a brief illness surrounded by family at home. She was 68 years old.

Margaretia was born on December 2, 1957 in Milford, DE to the late Dempsey Bordley and Lida Mae Jones.

While she had few jobs in her younger years, she became employed with Dover Acme in July of 1990 where she remained until they closed in 2018, in which she then began working with Safeway until she retired in 2023 after 33 years of service.

Margaretia was a beacon of love for all who knew her. There was not anything she valued more than the family she came from but more importantly the family she created. For many years her home was the hosting spot of many holidays, bbqs, and countless gatherings for family. Margaretia met the love of her life, Ramon Rosado, in 1986. They formally married in 2005 but spent a loving 39 years together.

She was preceded in death by her mother Lida Jones, her father Dempsey Bordley and her brother Donald Clark.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Ramon Rosado; her children: Margaretia Martinez, Abraham Martinez (Kim), Manuel Martinez (Taka); 4 sisters: Wanda Okwuosa (Western), Barbara McClain (Thomas), Lida Darling (Jimmie), Renee Bordley; 4 brothers: Clarence Clark, Darrylee Jones (Tara), Dennis Bordley, Jermaine Henry; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, 2 very special friends Melissa Dudley Benson and Margaret Hayes; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed.

A funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where friends may visit with the family from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Saturday. Burial will be private.
