She was a proud graduate of El Paso High and UTEP. She was previously employed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, where she retired after 17 years.

Her family and friends will remember Maggie (or Margaret) for her kindness, consideration, humility, and easy-going personality. She enjoyed traveling, reading, cooking and baking, and spending time with her fur babies (Roxie, Nikki, Caylee).

She is survived by her loving husband, Raul Alarcon, and her sister, Irma Pier. She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Apolinar (Pola) Morales.

A special Thank You to Ms. Irma Pier and the UMC Trauma ICU Nursing Staff for their excellent care during her hospitalization.
