Margarita "Maggie" Arguelles, 89, of Kingsville, Texas, beloved aunt, sister, and cherished friend, went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2025.

Maggie lived a life rooted in faith, hard work, and love for her family. Maggie was a devoted member of St. Gertrude the Great Catholic Church and a proud H.E.B. partner in the meat market for almost 40 years.

Maggie was the epitome of strength and perseverance. She was an advocate, consoler, and advisor. She lived with open ears. She was a second mother and guiding light to her beloved nieces and cherished great-niece, Nikki Aleman. Maggie's warmth, kindness, and unwavering support left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Her presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she loved and served so selflessly.

Maggie was preceded in death by her father, Jose Eustacio Arguelles, mother, Maria M. Arguelles, and sisters Amelia Aleman and Maria Elena Arguelles. She is survived by her brother, Jose Arguelles, two nieces Yda Aleman and Laura (Mario) Aleman, and her great-niece, Nikki Aleman.

Visitation will take place on Thursday May 29, 2025, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. The Mass for the Celebration of Maggie's life will be on Friday, May 30, 2025, at St. Gertrude the Great Catholic Church at 10:00 am.
