Margery Pisarcik

Margery (Traynor) Pisarcik, 78, of Allegheny Township, formerly of Vandergrift, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, in Concordia Lutheran Ministries - Cabot. Born June 18, 1947, in Connellsville, she was the daughter of the late William & Virginia (Shaffer) Traynor. Margery was a 1965 graduate of Kiski High School and graduated from Seminary Junior College in 1967. She worked as a reservation assistant for Transworld Airlines for 13 years, then as a travel agent for Olsen-O'Leary Travels, until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of Vandergrift Presbyterian Church and Vandergrift Business and Professional Women's Club. Margery volunteered with Vandergrift Meals on Wheels for over 20 years. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, reading, and spending time with her cats, July and Lizzie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her uncle, Edward A. Traynor. Margery is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Richard A. "Rich" Pisarcik; brother-in-law, Robert (Elizabeth) Brewer of Latrobe; niece, Renee (Danny) Norman of Charleston, WV; nephew, Scott (Wendy) Brewer of Sewickley; her beloved fur babies, July and Lizzie; and many other family members and friends. Friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, in BRADY-CURRAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES INC., 429 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift, with Pastor Brian Ralston M.Div. officiating. Private interment in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, will be held at the convenience of the family.
