"Don't be sad - yet I know you will,
Instead rejoice for me, for my body is healed."
Margie Ann finished her earthly journey on the morning of October 30, 2025, and now is enjoying all the beauty of Heaven, seeing her Lord and Savior face-to-face.
Margie enjoyed working with the public until her health started declining. She enjoyed making crafts for family and friends, caring for her plants, and her pet house birds. Her greatest joy in life was her husband and son.
Margie Ann, known to many as "Nooner", (a nickname she was given in her younger years) was the first-born child to the late Charlie and Margie Cameron Stanley. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents are sisters, Faye Maynard, and Linda Callahan; brother, Willie Stanley; in-laws, Joe and Lois Mooney, Pawpaw Robert, Granny Hattie; favorite aunt, Shelby, along with other aunts, cousins, some of her pet house birds; dog, Skippy and cat, White Socks.
Margie Ann is survived by her husband and best friend of 53 years, Terry Mooney, her son, Terry Michael; sisters, Cheryl (Randolph) Kendrick, and Glenda (James) Lemons; brothers, Ronnie (Betty) Stanley and Charles (Tammy) Stanley; sister-in-law, Debbie Mooney and many nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces and of course, her 4 pet house birds, along with many friends she made throughout her life.
Margie fought long battles over the last several years with her health yet would bounce back. This last battle, 4 weeks ago, God saw she needed rest and had her place in Heaven ready.
The family would like to thank each doctor and staff member in the ICU at Cone Hospital for the great care and compassion that was shown over the past week. And to everyone who called, texted and prayed, thank you.
This isn't the final goodbye; it's simply we'll see ya on the other side one day.
