Our beloved mother Margie Tracy Bartosh Pustejovsky passed to her eternal reward surrounded by her family on May 18, 2025. She was a devout Catholic who was a living example to God’s commandment, “Love one another as I have loved you.” She covered her family and friends in prayer attending frequent daily masses, reciting Rosaries, and lighting blessed candles.
Born on October 8, 1931, in Granger, Texas, Margie was the youngest of thirteen children whose parents were E.D. and Marie Bartosh. She married Ervin (Poochie) Pustejovsky in 1953, and devoted her life to caring for him and their four children. A supportive farmer’s wife, she tirelessly ran errands, helped with harvest, fixed meals, and accompanied Poochie surveying crops and cattle. They witnessed many varied events supporting their children and grandchildren. Together they instilled a love for Christ and a strong work ethic in them. They celebrated 67 years of marriage before Ervin’s death January 30, 2020.
Continuing a love of family are their children Betty (Stan) Vacek, Jim (Janiece) Pustejovsky, Paul (Maggie) Pustejovsky, Kim (Benny) Polasek.
Remembering her constant love and advice of “Remember the Big Ten!” (Commandments) are her seventeen (17) grandchildren: Brandi (Jason) Huf, Chris (Carol) Flemming, Anna (Jason) Custer, Luke (Anne) Vacek, Amy (Cory) Viertel, Jake (Brynn) Pustejovsky, Daniel (Amanda) Pustejovsky, Joey (Sara Ambler) Pustejovsky, Mark Pustejovsky, Dustin (Lucille) Pustejovsky, Marie (Dustin) DeVos, Paul (Meagan) Pustejovsky, Jr., Tracy (Sean) Dronen, Sarah (Wesley) Ring, Ervin (Morgan) Polasek, Andrew (Lily) Polasek, Bridget (Jared) Reyna. Margie was also blessed with 38 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sister-in-laws Gloria Bartosh, Ann Pustejovsky, Betty Hajda, and Tracy Yates and numerous nieces and nephews.
