Pavitra D.P

October 25, 2024

I was a student of Redeemer Montessori for one and a half years. Ms Margo was the kindest and most caring teacher that I had ever seen in my life. She was my first best friend and my family still talks about what a great, loving, and caring teacher she was. I loved Ms Margo so much, every day I would look forward to coming to school just for her. Redeemer reminds me of when she used to teach me how to sew and design outfits. She also taught me how to choose color pallets so perfectly, I truly admire her. And, Ms Margo, if you can see this, you will always be the tiny voice my head telling me what the right thing to do is. My name is Pavitra and I will miss her so dearly. Rest in peace with all of our love Ms Margo.

Margo played such a huge part of my early mommy life. My oldest daughter Nola was a pre-k, kinder student and Margo and I shared a mutual respect for each other. She was such a strong supporter and advocate for all of her students and they adored her. Ema went on to be her student for two years, but sadly Jane did not get Margo´s gentle guidance as she decided to leave DISD, such a loss for Harry Stone. We still sing some of Margo´s songs from the ellipse, and we all have happy memories of Margo.
Her passing is a big loss for all who knew here, but especially for her sweet family who she adored.
Our thoughts are with you all as you navigate this new normal. Godspeed sweet Margo, your life made a difference
