Margo A. Reed, cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on October 26, 1945, Margo lived a life full of love and devotion, leaving an enduring impact on all who had the pleasure to know her.

Her dedication to service and community shone brightly through her extensive involvement with several organizations. She passionately supported Toys for Tots, ensuring that children in need experienced the joy of the holiday season. As a member of the Marine Corps League Auxiliary, she worked tirelessly to support veterans and their families. Her commitment continued with the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW, where she contributed to programs that honored and assisted veterans. Beyond these affiliations, she generously volunteered her time at the Missouri Veterans Home, providing companionship and care to the residents, making a tangible difference in their lives.

Above all, Margo treasured her family. Some of her happiest moments in recent years were spent fishing alongside of her son and sharing laughter during family game nights. She also enjoyed shopping and had a great love for nature and animals, especially her grand-dog  Gus. She is survived by her beloved son, Robert C. Reed III, and his wife Christine. Margo took great pride in her grandchildren, Khelsea Shepardson (Shawn), Samantha Reed, Madison Griesenauer (Joshua), Delaney Reed, and Olivia Reed. The joy that her ten great-grandchildren brought into her life was immeasurable, and she cherished the moments spent with them. Margo's legacy continues through her many other family members and friends, who will carry her memory in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Coleman Reed, Jr., and her parents, Donald Leggett and Mary (Freida) Leggett. Margo also mourned the loss of her son, Nathan Reed, and her sisters, Caroline Witt and Betty DeJohnge.

A kind soul with a generous spirit, Margo touched the lives of those around her in ways that will not be forgotten. Her memory will remain alive in the stories shared and the love passed down through generations. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
