Margot N'Francisco

Margot N'Francisco (nee Rudolph), 95 of Wallingford (formerly of Cape May, NJ) passed away Wednesday February 19, 2025, at her home in the Plush Mills Senior Living Community. She was born April 14, 1929, in Thierstein, Germany to the late Alfred & Johanna (Haidl) Rudolph. In 1962, Margot immigrated to America via the SS United States She met and married her beloved husband, Raymond. Margot was an inspiration to all and a mother figure to the Francis children.
Margot's passing on February 19th, 2025, was a profoundly symbolic day, as it marked the departure of the SS United States. As the ship embarked on its final journey, Margot set sail on her own eternal voyage, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and adventure. Its voyage marked a poignant bookend to her remarkable life.
When she was not exploring, Margie enjoyed nothing more than gathering with loved ones for a game of cards, a cold drink during happy hour (any day of the week!), or swapping stories of her German heritage and world travels. She was also a member of the Red Hat society where she made countless friends and memories. Margot embodied the spirit of fun, friendship, and empowerment that defined this exceptional group.
In addition to her parents, Margot was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond N' Francisco, brother-in-law, Augustine Francis, Jr. (Helen), sister-in-law Gloria Oehrle (Richie), Mother-in-law Matilda Richards.
Survivors include Cousin: Wolfgang Rudolph (Erika); Nephews: Michael (Michelle) Francis, Tom (Kim) Francis and Richie Oehrle; Nieces: Kathleen Francis (Marge), Christine (Robert) McGlinn, Patricia Oehrle Wheaton, and Debera Oehrle.
Family and friends are invited to Margot's visitation on Sunday February 23rd from 10 am to 11 am at the Cavanagh Patterson Family Funeral Home, 43 E. Baltimore Ave., Media, PA 19063. Her Memorial Service will immediately follow at 11am. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon will be private.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Margot's memory may consider a donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) in honor of her late husband Raymond N'Francisco.
