A tremendous loss to all who knew her. I had the privilege of Margot being my paralegal in my early years in the District Attorney´s Office here in San Diego. We were a magnificent team. We kept in touch with periodic phone calls and cards over the years of her retirement. She was so kind and old-fashioned, if you will, in the lovely and simple act of sending a card to celebrate an anniversary, my daughters birthday, my birthday or Christmas. She always remembered. What a joy to receive such a thoughtful gift from a true friend. I will miss her positivity and loving heart forever. My condolences to her son Robert with whom I hope to connect. She loved him very much. Margot was one classy, hard working and independent woman. She had my total respect, admiration and gratitude for all she did for me professionally and personally. She will never be forgotten. God speed you wonderful human.

Margot was a real classy gal! I had the honor of working with her for part of her time in the District Attorney's office at the South Bay office in Chula Vista. When she moved to Albuquerque New Mexico, she kept in touch with a few of us from the office. Every year Margot would send a birthday card and a Christmas card to me and people she kept in contact with in San Diego. We knew something was amiss when we did not receive a 2024 Christmas card from her and when our cards sent came back, returned to sender.
Along with her cheery greeting cards, one year she also sent her recipe (including the most important ingredient, the special rum ) for her delicious rum balls and if I must say, they were more rum than balls lol! She was a kind and caring person and had a great sense of humor. She will be missed dearly.
