Marguerite P. Devine

Mrs. Marguerite P. (Hart) Devine, age 79, of Lynn, died Friday November 5, 2010 in a local nursing home, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Thomas Devine, her husband of 54 years. Born in Salem and raised in Marblehead, she was the daughter of the late Grafton and Sara (Thorner) Hart. She and her husband had lived in Lynn since their marriage. A graduate of the Salem Hospital School of Nursing, Marguerite had worked at Salem Hospital for over 31 years. She was a Communicant of St. Joseph Parish in Lynn. In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter Diane T. Devine, of Marblehead and several cousins. Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:30am from the SOLIMINE LANDERGAN AND RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME 426 BROADWAY (RTE129), LYNN, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10am in St. Joseph's (Lower Church). Burial will be in Star of the Sea Cemetery, Marblehead. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visitation Wednesday 8:30am-9:30am.
