Marguerite Frances Digman, 80, of Walnut Ridge, entered into her heavenly home on Sunday, November 9, 2025. She was born on November 2, 1945, in Jonesboro to the late Robert and Frances (Taucher) Moore. She was united in marriage to Hines Digman on August 22, 1969, in Black Rock. Marguerite was a graduate of Arkansas State University with her Bachelor of Education, where she became a Physical Education teacher. In her younger years, she enjoyed riding and participating in horse shows. She began volunteering with many organizations, including the Blood Bank, the Lawrence County Food Pantry, the Fill-A-Backpack program, and her church. She eventually became president of the Lawrence County Library Board. One of Marguerite's proudest achievements was being an adult literacy mentor. When Marguerite was not volunteering, you would find her helping with the family farm.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hines Digman, of 50 years, and two sisters, Marsha Moore and Rhetta Moore.

She is survived by her daughter, Leigh Smith (Charlie) of Jonesboro; brother, Bill Moore (Marsha) of Walnut Ridge; two nieces, Devon Talbert and Pasha Moore; two great nieces; one great nephew; significant other, General David Guntharp; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge, with funeral services immediately following at 11 a.m. with Bro. Paul Coy officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Blaine Davis, Garett Davis, Terry Boothe, Jeffery Boothe, Cap Phillips, and John Andrews.
