Maria Anna "Mary Ann" Arzola, age 76, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Sunday, August 31, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born December 29, 1948 in Los Indios, Texas to Julio and Teresa (Martinez) Garcia. She married Victor Arzola, Sr. in Muleshoe on December 26, 1970.

Mary Ann loved to cook, dance and laugh. She enjoyed football as well. She was a loving mother and housewife, who not only raised her kids, she helped raise her grandchildren and all the neighborhood kids too. Mary Ann was humble and generous, always donating to charities and volunteering. She was a migrant worker as a young girl and traveled many placed to do so. She was very hard working and made sure her kids never slacked and worked as hard as she did. Mary Ann was the glue of the family and was an amazing wife and mother. She loved Jesus and was devout to the Virgin Mary. Mary Ann always prayed her rosary. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Muleshoe. She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Anna Guerra; a sister, Dora Alicia Garcia; two brothers, Julio Garcia Jr. and Juan Garcia; and a brother-in-law, James Martin.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Victor; three sons, Victor Arzola Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Muleshoe, Texas, Hector Arzola and his wife, Amanda of Portales, New Mexico and Francisco Arzola of Muleshoe, Texas; a daughter, Laura Reyes and her husband, Joe of Muleshoe, Texas; three sisters, Janie Sherbon and her husband, Kenny of Derby, Kansas, Rosa Martin of Tyrone, Oklahoma and Beatrice Garcia of Muleshoe, Texas; two brothers, Javier Garcia and his wife, Judy of Clovis, New Mexico, Jaime Garcia and his wife, Deanne of Anton, Texas; her twenty-five grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, who adored her.

The family suggests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
