I met my dear friend Maria in 1972 when we went to beauty school and she lived next door to it with her 4 beautiful children. We would go there for coffee for a break in the day. She was my mentor, advice giver, sometimes mom and always a friend there for me no matter what. We had some really good times through the years and Jake even shared Maria with me and my family. She helped my son Travis through some tough times by being there to talk to, he loves her very much! If you ever needed someone to tell you how it is without mincing words Maria was the person :) and I loved that about her. I can still hear her voice and hope that never goes away. There are no words to express how alone I am feeling without her in my life, I can hear Maria now " oh you're going to make this about you, tee hee and then she would wink"! Rest in peace my dear friend and say hello to Jake. With all our love, Sylvia and Travis

Please accept my sincere condolences dear family and friends. May prayers strengthen you and memories comfort you. And may you find hope and comfort in God our Father, who loves us, comfort your hearts and "make you firm". (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17).

I know about Maria through her loving son Robert. She was a remarkable person who raised a remarkable family. I wish the family peace as they deal with their loss. Mike
