Maria Elena Chin

Maria Elena Chin was born in Los Angeles, California on December 27, 1966 to parents Howard and Josephine Chin. Maria entered into eternal rest on November 18, 2025 at the age of 58. She is preceded in death by her father; Howard Chin, mother; Josephine Chin, and brother; Howard Franklin Chin. Maria is survived by her brothers; James Chin (Antonia), and John Chin. Sister; Betty Jo Paredes. Maria had numerous of nieces and nephews that she loved so much with all her heart. Maria was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed listening to the Beatles and Celine Dion. Many of her favorite shows were MASH and Emergency. Maria enjoyed going to school doing arts and crafts with her peers. Everyone who knew Maria knew she always enjoyed a big Mac and her Pizza. Maria will be missed by all her family and friends. Services are as follows:

Monday- December 15, 2025

4p.m.-8p.m.- Visitation to be held at Texas Funeral Home, 2702 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. With a rosary to be recited at 6:30p.m.

Tuesday- December 16, 2025

8a.m.-8:30a.m.- Visitation to be held at Texas Funeral Home Chapel

8:45a.m.- Departure from funeral home.

9:30a.m.- Mass at St. Anthony Mary Claret Catholic Church, 6150 Roft Rd, San Antonio, TX 78253

11:30a.m.- Burial service at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery,1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209
