Maria Guadalupe Colunga

Our beloved Maria Guadalupe "Lupita" Zarzosa Colunga went to be with the Lord on October 5, 2024, in San Antonio, Tx. Lupita was born on December 30, 1957, in Mexico, to Eliodoro Zarzosa and Jovita Muniz Zarzosa. She met her husband Hector Colunga Sr, in 1974 and they married in 1977 in Brownsville, Tx. They went on to have 3 children, and relocated to San Antonio, Tx in 1984. Lupita was a devoted housewife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed being a homemaker, raising her kids and taking care of her grandkids. She was also known to take care of the neighborhood kids.
Lupita is preceded in death by her parents, several brothers & sisters, father in law Luis Colunga Jr; and her son, Hector Colunga Jr. Lupita is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Hector Colunga Sr.; daughters, Elizabeth Colunga and Adriana Villalobos (Andrew); daughter-in-law, Monica Colunga; mother in law Aurora Colunga; sister, Maria Shriver; grandchildren, Robert Colunga, Mallory Colunga, Sunny Trevino Jr, Hector Colunga III, Samuel Colunga, Abcde Medina, Aaliyah Villalobos, Aiyla Villalobos, Jayden Contreras and Juliette Villalobos.
Lupita brought joy into the lives of those around her & her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
