Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Maria de Lourdes Diaz "Doña Lurdes", 83, of Henderson, will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 5, 2025, at St. Jude's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 4, at the funeral home with a rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. Mrs. Diaz passed from this life on September 2, 2025, in Tyler. She was born February 11, 1942, in Jalisco, Mexico to the late Policarpio Diaz and Maria del Refugio Diaz Aguilar. Mrs. Diaz was a homemaker and a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Juan Manuel Diaz Calvillo, and sisters and brother Marta Diaz, Roberto Diaz, and Maria Elena Diaz. Survivors include her children Marilu Diaz, Daniel Diaz, and Gilberto Diaz and wife Adriana, all of Henderson, and Alejandra Diaz-Korff and husband Michael of Portland, Texas; brother and sisters Sergio Diaz, Evanjelina Diaz, Graciela Diaz, and Blanca Diaz, all of Aguascalientes, Mexico; grandchildren Aleena Tompkins, Patrick Diaz, Kolby Diaz, Andrew Diaz, Gage Diaz, Shelby Diaz, Jace Diaz, Johan Diaz-Korff, Savannah Diaz-Korff, and Kaden Diaz-Korff; great-grandchildren John Andrew Diaz and Jacob Anthony Diaz; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Gilbert Diaz, Daniel Diaz, Andrew Diaz, Gage Diaz, Johan Diaz-Korff, and Kaden Diaz-Korff. Honorary pallbearers will be Savannah Diaz-Korff, Aleena Tompkins, Kolby Diaz, Shelby Diaz, and Patrick Diaz. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.crawfordacrim.com.
