Maria Juana Elias Guerra

Maria Juana Elias Guerra, 75, of Brownsville, TX, devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on September 20, 2022, at Brownsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mexico on March 31, 1947.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Maria E. Elias and Angel Elias, and a brother, Zeferino Elias.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband; Pedro Guerra; children: Blanca Miranda and spouse Marco Antonio Miranda, Jabier Arturo Romero, Ricardo Gabriel Romero and spouse Samantha Carrillo, Eddie Guerra and spouse Mary Guerra, and Erica Guerra, 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, brothers/sisters; Maria de Los Angeles Rivera, Antonia Elias, Guadalupe Elias, Jesus Elias, Jose Angel Elias, Liza Fortanelli, Alfredo Sanchez, and Jose Lucino Martinez.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, September 25, 2022, from 1PM to 8PM, with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues on Monday, September 26, 2022, at 10:00 AM, with a chapel service at 12 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park at 1PM.
